Vaccination Open to Foreigners and Hungarians Without TAJ Cards
Vaccination registration has opened to foreigners living in Hungary, ethnic Hungarians living in other countries, and recently repatriated Hungarians, the government’s information center announced. A Hungarian health (TAJ) card is not required.
Registration for non-citizens, Hungarians living abroad, and repatriated Hungarians who do not yet have a TAJ card opened on Tuesday. People wishing to be vaccinated can register on www.vakcinainfo.gov.hu.
The data you need to share to register are: your name, age, email address, telephone number. They also ask if you have a Hungarian TAJ (public health insurance) number. In case you don’t have a TAJ number, the site requests you to enter the number of another official certificates (for instance, personal identity document number, passport number, residency permit number, etc.)
