MUMBAI: Pradeep Ramachandran Thampi, the owner of Mumbai-based Executive Airways Private Limited, one of the first aircraft charter companies in India, passed away on Sunday morning. Thampi (63) was ailing and was admitted to a hospital about three weeks ago, said a close friend.
He is survived by his wife, Daksha, son, fashion designer Nikhil Thampiand his daughter, Pranavi Thampi. ``The funeral will take place around 6 pm in Oshiwara, in Andheri, North Mumbai,’’ the friend said.
