Two teenage girls were found dead at the foot of an HDB block in Toa Payoh last Saturday (April 3) night.
The police said they received a report of unnatural death at Block 143, Toa Payoh Lor 2 and found two girls aged 15 and 16 lying motionless on the ground floor.
In response to AsiaOne s queries, the Singapore Civil Defence Force said they received a call for assistance at 10.05pm. A paramedic subsequently pronounced the pair dead on scene.
Identical bracelets were also allegedly removed from the deceased, who were said to be close friends, for investigations.
The police said no foul play is suspected. Investigations are ongoing.

Malaysian influencer Cathryn Li has said that the recent vitriol against her online has driven her to suicide.
In an Instagram post on Saturday (March 13), Li detailed how she suffered an emotional collapse and tried to end all the pain .
An accompanying photo showed angry red marks around the middle of her neck.
She wrote in the now-deleted post: Last night, I had an emotional breakdown and tried to hang myself to end all the pain, (but) the wire was too thin and broke. Even when I wanted to die, I was afraid that if I didn t succeed I d get criticised again.

A string of well publicised cases of domestic violence has some asking how to better educate China’s young people about relationships.

University is a place where people often find their career, find their passion and, in many cases, find love.
But a series of incidents of domestic violence against women has led many in China to seek solutions.
In November 2020, in the southwestern province of Sichuan, a female student at Sichuan University Jinjiang College was killed by her boyfriend during a fight. He took his own life afterwards.
A month later, also in Sichuan, a man murdered his 19-year-old girlfriend who attended Leshan Vocational and Technical College.
