Jal Jeevan Mission: Larsen & Toubro Wins Rs 2500-5000 Crore Project In Madhya Pradesh To Provide Rural Piped Water Supply To 48 Lakh Households In 3103 villages Across 5 Districts

Larsen & Toubro announced that its Water & Effluent Treatment business unit has won multiple EPC ( engineering, procurement and conduction) orders for the execution of rural piped water supply schemes in various districts of Madhya Pradesh.
The projects are part of Jal Jeevan Mission and cover the districts of Guna, Ashoknagar, Shivpuri, Agar Malwa & Singrauli. The project will cater to the drinking water requirement of 3103 villages covering a population of 48 Lakhs. The projects are part of the Governmentâs ambitious Jal Jeevan Mission to provide piped water supply to every rural household by 2024.
