In a circular released on Sunday, Director, School Education, Vadrevu Chinaveerabhadrudu, pointed out that the government had postponed the SSC Public Examination-2021 due to the intensity of the second wave of COVID-19.

Addressing a video-conference with the representatives of various teachers’ unions, he said the YSRCP government had good intentions of developing the education sector and address the issues faced by the teaching community. The union leaders put forth their set of demands insisting that teachers be identified as frontline warriors, since they had been working at the risk of their health, and immediate steps to rid them of the problems caused by the many apps introduced by the authorities concerned.
