Commissioners promote Cumberland County native to position of chief clerk

Stacy Marie Snyder has been serving as deputy chief clerk for one year and acting chief clerk for the past seven months.

Snyder takes over after the death of Sandy Moyle in December, a press release said.
Snyder has been serving as deputy chief clerk for one year and acting chief clerk for the past seven months. As chief clerk, Snyder will manage the county’s day-to-day operations within the guidelines set forth by the Pennsylvania County Code and the board of commissioners.
Previous to Snyder’s position with the county, she served as deputy court administrator of York County. She also was a systems trainer for the administrative office of Pennsylvania Courts, in Mechanicsburg, for 12 years, according to the release. In that role, Snyder managed the day-to-day operations for Family Court and worked on protocols and procedures for the district
