Seven people are in hospital receiving treatment for COVID-19, including three in intensive care.
This is according to the Renfrew County and District Health Unit updated case summary, which was posted on the health unit website Monday afternoon. Earlier in the day, it reported four new positive cases of COVID-19 today and five additional resolved cases.

The April 19 case summary showed 39 active cases, with 32 individuals self-isolating. The health unit is also reporting four additional cases which have screened positive for variants of concern. There are not active outbreaks being reported.

The Renfrew County and District Health Unit is reporting seven new positive cases of COVID-19 and five additional resolved cases.
The April 15 case summary posted on the RCDHU website Thursday afternoon shows 42 active cases in Renfrew County and district with five people in hospital, including two receiving treatment in intensive care and 37 individuals self-isolating.

The cases which have screened positive for variants of concern continue to rise as the number now sits at 72 cases, an increase of 15 since April 12. With 16 new infections reported since April 12, 15 are community cases with one additional school case (a student at Renfrew Collegiate Institute). The Renfrew County and District Health Unit has reported 25 new cases of COVID-19 in the past four days, including seven new cases on Monday.
According to the April 12 case summary, posted on the RCDHU website late Monday, there 44 active cases in Renfrew County and district with three people hospitalized, including two in the ICU and 41 individuals self-isolating. This is compared to 31 active cases on April 8. The health unit is also reporting 12 additional resolved cases. The number of positive cases that have screened for variants of concern also continue to increase as the health unit is now reporting 57, which is up from 38 on the April 8 case summary. Overall, 442 of the total 490 cases are considered resolved, with four deaths attributed to the virus.

The Renfrew County and District Health Unit is reporting eight new positive cases of COVID-19 and five additional resolved cases today.
This brings the total to 498 cases in Renfrew County and district since the start of the pandemic with 447 resolved cases and four deaths attributed to the virus, leaving 47 active cases as of April 13.
