Protesters gathered outside long-term care homes in Scarborough and North York to #StopTheSenicide, alleging “neglect and abuse” for seniors living in these facilities and calling on accountability from the province.
The rallies were organized by Warrior Advocacy Crusade, the first protest at noon took place outside Kennedy Lodge in the Kennedy and Ellesmere Rds. area, and the second was held at L’Chaim Retirement Home in the Bathurst St. and Sheppard Ave. area, at 2 p.m.
