Long Range Archery & Firearms attempted burglary investigated By Peg McNichol

HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) –Ottawa County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating an attempted burglary at Long Range Archery & Firearms 2530 Van Ommen Drive in Holland Township.
Sheriff’s deputies, summoned at 1:41 a.m., Saturday, April 17, 2021, found evidence of the attempted the breaking-entering incident and that the suspects failed to gain entry, thanks to security measures according to Sheriff’s Sgt. Dennis Luce. Police recovered a vehicle suspected used by the suspects, but Luce indicated the suspects were not to be found.

Break-in at Holland Township outdoor store foiled by security measures, police say

HOLLAND TWP, MI A Holland Township outdoor store’s security measures recently prevented burglars from breaking in, police said.
Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to an alarm at Long Range Archery and Firearms, 2530 Van Ommen Dr., at about 1:40 a.m. Saturday, April, 17. Upon their arrival, deputies found evidence of an attempted entry into the business.
The suspects were unable to enter the building due to the security measures the business has in place, deputies said.
Deputies recovered the suspects’ vehicle, though the suspects themselves were no longer in it.
