Sugar Land-based Gyro Republic is opening another Fort Bend County location in mid-July.Â
 The fast-casual Mediterranean restaurant is set to expand to Richmondâs Waterview Town Center, CEO Rehan Ranpuri said.Â
 The new location will be adjacent to the fast-growing Aliana development at 4808 Waterview Town Center Dr., Ste. 100.
 Gyro Republic opened its first location in Sugar Land in 2019 at 19920 Southwest Fwy.
 Ranpuri said he spent the last year weathering the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and feels now is the time for his business to grow.Â
He said educating customers who may be unfamiliar with the concept of a gyro has been a great opportunity to convert skeptics into returning visitors.
