This is an aerial view of the new leopard habitat planned for Minotâs Roosevelt Park Zoo. The new habitat for the leopards will be constructed at the zooâs former cat habitat. The African lions and Amur tigers have newly constructed habitats.
Funds are continuing to be raised for the new leopard habitat at Minot’s Roosevelt Park Zoo.
After the completion of the new habitats for the African lions and Amur tigers, $1.3 million was left over from those projects and will go to the leopard habitat, according to Jennifer Kleen, executive director of the Greater Minot Zoological Society.
