The Nebraska Department of Correctional Services reports an inmate, who failed to return to the Community Corrections Center-Lincoln from a work assignment last month, is now back in custody.
They say Raymond Jimenez was arrested by Omaha Police and is now in the Lancaster County Jail.
Jimenez was supposed to return to the facility after going to a job service in downtown Lincoln on April 7th.
He is now facing a charge of escape.
Jimenez’s sentence started June 15th, 2020.
He was sentenced four to six - and - a - half years for charges out of Douglas County that include operation of a motor vehicle to avoid arrest and possession of a deadly weapon by a prohibited person.

The Nebraska State Patrol and other law enforcement agencies continue to look for 43-year old Michael Simmons, who walked away from the Community Corrections Center-Lincoln Saturday night.
The Nebraska Department of Correctional Services says Simmons didn’t come back from an evening work shift.
He was sentenced out of Douglas County for third degree domestic assault (second assault) and out of Saunders County for driving a vehicle during revocation.
Simmons started his sentence on February 24th, 2020.
He was sentenced to five years and has a tentative release date of January 7th, 2022.
Anyone with knowledge of his whereabouts is asked to contact local law enforcement or the Nebraska State Patrol.

(Omaha, NE) Two inmates who went missing from a Lincoln correctional facility are arrested in Omaha.
The Nebraska Department of Correctional Services says Omaha Police arrested Clifford Brown and Jacob Roeder near 16th and Carter Boulevard on Sunday. Brown and Roeder left the Community Corrections Center – Lincoln together the morning of April 29th.
NDCS says Roeder is facing a new charge for possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine). His sentence began December 14th, 2020. He was sentenced in Dawson County on multiple charges for possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine). Roeder was sentenced to three years.
