Nebraska extends contract of Coach Bolt
Big Ten Coach of the Year Will Bolt has received a contract extension and pay raise after leading the Nebraska baseball program to a conference title in 2021.

LINCOLN, Neb. (Nebraska Athletics) – Big Ten Coach of the Year Will Bolt has received a contract extension and pay raise after leading the Nebraska baseball program to a conference title in 2021. Interim Nebraska Athletic Director Garrett Klassy made that announcement on Thursday evening.
Bolt, who completed his second season with the Huskers in 2021, received a one-year contract extension and his deal now runs through June 30, 2026. In addition, Bolt will receive a $100,000 increase in his annual salary.

The Husker third baseman adds another honor to his ever-growing list

For the third straight year, Nebraska baseball has a freshman All-American among its ranks. Omaha native burst onto the scene with his first Husker at-bat resulting in a home run. He also hit one out of the park in his last at-bat of the regular season vs Michigan.
Anderson was tabbed as the Big Ten freshman of the year and made the second team All-Big Ten list.

Max Anderson racked up another postseason award on Wednesday, as he was named a freshman All-American by Collegiate Baseball Newspaper. It’s the third-straight season Nebraska has produced a freshman All-American, as Colby Gomes (NCBWA) was honored in 2019 and Leighton Banjoff (Collegiate Baseball) was picked in 2020.
