CHAMBER TO HOST BUSINESS LUNCHEON
The Sanibel & Captiva Islands Chamber of Commerce will hold its next business luncheon meeting on Aug. 11 starting at noon at the Pink Shell Beach Resort, at 275 Estero Blvd., Fort Myers Beach.
The guest speaker is Col. Andrew Kelly, commander and district engineer of the Jacksonville District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
The meeting is being held in partnership with the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association and is sponsored by Captains for Clean Water and Rapid Response Team.

Team members from The Sanibel Captiva Trust Company and The Naples Trust Company recently participated in the regional walk in Naples to raise awareness of mental illness for the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). About 300 walkers and dozens of vendors came out to show their support.
