Stuff Jenkins’s computer and other electronic storage devices were seized. More than 200 objectionable pictures and videos were found on the computer. Almost all had been obtained by ‘’carving’’ – a technique used to find hidden or deleted files from digital media. The files dated back to 2016. Jenkins told police he knew how to share files because he shared brass band music. He said there may be “two or three videos of very young children” on his computer and he had them “out of curiosity”.

Glenn Taylor/Stuff Vikas Menon pleaded guilty to three representative charges with Kapoor. The total tax evaded was $1,761,674.52. Menon, 38, was charged in relation to $535,642 of that. The charges related to tax evasion by 18 companies. None of the companies are still operating, so the two men were charged as parties to the offences. Kapoor was the primary operator of the companies and liaised with clients, supervisors, accounts and the IRD. He did this despite being bankrupt from December 2010 to December 2013. Crown prosecutor Clayton Walker told the court both men would cash cheques from the companies accounts in order to pay workers. This made it much more difficult to trace the companies activities, and was done against advice from their accountants and IRD.
