The 2021 Infiniti QX50 crossover ranges from $37,950-$56,850, plus freight and options.
Just last year, Infiniti added two upscale trim levels to its five-passenger QX50 crossover lineup, building on the model that has become one of the brand’s best-selling vehicles.
The new trims are the Sensory, which begins at $50,000, and the top-of-the-line Autograph, which starts at $54,200.
For this report, we got our first look at the Sensory model. While front-wheel drive is standard, our tester came with Intelligent All-Wheel Drive, which added $2,000 to the sticker price. This option is available for that price on all QX50 versions except the Autograph, on which it’s $2,650 extra.

The layout gives two colour displays pride of place. The top eight-inch screen looks after navigation and phone functions including standard wireless Apple CarPlay, wired Android Auto and Wi-Fi connectivity for up to seven devices. The QX55 arrives with the expected driver assistance systems, including predictive forward collision warning with pedestrian detection, blind spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert and rear auto braking, lane departure warning, and auto high beams. The Essential ProAssist adds adaptive cruise, lane departure protection, and blind spot intervention. The annoying part is the lane departure warning system vibrates the steering wheel and dabs the brakes anytime the driver encroaches

The Infiniti lineup’s entry-level sedan received a trim level reshuffle. The 2021 model now offers the Sensory trim level, which slots between the mid-level Luxe trim and the range-topping Red Sport. The Sensory comes standard with built-in navigation, and sports a performance-inspired exterior design, with many of the same features as the Red Sport. These include its angular lower air intakes, its twin exhausts, and its two-toned rear diffuser.
