Thursday, July 29, 2021 Bill Ott Eureka Springs City Council member Bill Ott has been appointed to the Arkansas Municipal League’s Advisory Council for Economic Development for 2021-2022. The purpose of the advisory council is to allow municipalities to get together and discuss their mutual programs and advise the municipal league’s staff and executive committee as to the types of services and policies they would like to pursue. “I’m just very honored that I would be selected to be a representative on that and more importantly to be representing my community in economic development because that’s important to our community, especially being basically a one-industry community,” said Ott, who was appointed by League president and Berryville Mayor Tim McKinney. “If we can find a way to get some green industry, that would be great, but that’s not why I’m on that advisory group.
