MISAMIS ORIENTAL, Feb. 20 (PIA) – In preparation of the national government’s coronavirus disease (COVID)-19 vaccination program, the Misamis Oriental Provincial Health Office (PHO) alongside the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (PDRRMO) and Department of Health (DOH)-10 held an Immunization Drill at the Provincial Capitol, February 19, to iron out and identify specific roles of its personnel and key areas of improvement for the upcoming vaccination rollout.
“The system that we made is far from perfect, and we are hoping that those who are watching with us today in any way will be able to suggest where we are able to improve our operation, we are willing to listen, COVID-19 is not only a problem for Misamis Oriental, it is a problem for the country, and even the whole world,” Governor Yevgeny Vicente Bambi Emano shared.

In Haryana, a dry run to check the best way to vaccinate people against COVID-19 was conducted with an aim to vaccinate 67 lakh people in the first phase.
Additional Chief Secretary (Health) Rajeev Arora said the primary aim to conduct the dry run was to exercise end-to-end testing of Covid-19 vaccination rollout so as to identify the challenges that would further help in formulating detailed plans for the actual implementation of the vaccine rollout.
To ensure full and successful implementation of the vaccine rollout, another dry run has been planned across the state on January 7.
