The President of the Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN), Comrade Marwan Mustapha, has become the National Treasurer of Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC).
Comrade Marwan emerged as the new treasurer during the National Executive Council (NEC) meeting of the NLC held recently in Abuja, where his appointment was confirmed.

The Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) has expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the ongoing screening of local government staff in Kaduna State which will fish out unqualified and fake employees.
Speaking to newsmen after visiting some local government areas in the state, the President of NULGE, Comrade Rayanu Isyaku Turunku, commended the state Ministry of Local Government and the Local Government Service Board for initiating the screening, which he said would restore confidence and sanity in the service.

Workers of Enugu State, under the aegis of the Organized Labour, on Tuesday, paid a Thank-you visit to Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi for his administration’s consistency in addressing their issues in spite of various challenges confronting the nation.
The Organized Labour, comprising the state leadership of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), the Trade Union Congress of Nigeria (TUC) and Joint Public Service Negotiating Council (JNC), described Ugwuanyi as a God-fearing, peaceful and Labour-friendly leader, who has lived up to expectations in fulfilling his promises to workers of the state since his assumption of office in 2015.
