Hospice set to hire next advanced nurse trainee to mentorship programme

Hospice set to hire next advanced nurse trainee to mentorship programme A nurse at a Wrexham hospice is hoping 2021 is the year she gets to celebrate her graduation and welcome a new trainee on to the wards. Kayley Mulley, is the first graduate from Nightingale House Hospice’s Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) mentorship scheme. And the good news is that the hospice will accept its’ second student later this year. The ANP course bridges the gap between clinical, like nurses, and medical staff, such as doctors and means those who qualify can relieve pressure points within the team, and are qualified to look and deal with patients who have more complex needs.
