A local man is facing charges from Kingston Police after fleeing arrest and assaulting an officer Monday afternoon.
Police said that one of their officers was on patrol on Gardiners Road near Princess Street at about 4:40 p.m. when they saw a man driving north failing to signal to change lanes. The officer initiated a traffic stop and the driver pulled over on Norris Court.
