Funny Farm Rescue & Sanctuary is a zoo without walls. More than 550 animals are free to roam the 15-acre property off Railroad Boulevard in Mays Landing. From llamas, goats, horses, chicken, bulls and even a skunk have all been rescued and found a home at the farm, founded by Laurie Zaleski 19 years ago. BRIGANTINE â City Council will vote Wednesday on an ordinance that would prohibit ownership, possession and maintenance of livestock.

The ordinance states that livestock, which includes but is not limited to horses, cows, bulls, pigs and goats, âis inconsistent with the general good health and well-being of persons in the city.â
