HILLIARD, Fla. A Hilliard man is facing a felony charge after he allegedly stole nearly $6,600 worth of Florida lottery scratch-off tickets while he was the assistant manager at a Circle K.
On Monday, Jan. 18, the Nassau County Sheriff s Office arrested 37-year-old Richard Fonville and charged him with theft of over $5,000.
According to the arrest report, Fonville ran the Circle K at 551726 U.S. Highway 1 in Hilliard in late December, temporarily filling in for the store s regular manager.
Stolen Florida Lottery scratch-off tickets valued together at $6,520 from a Jacksonville Circle K store led to the arrest of an employee, according to the Nassau County Sheriff s Office.
Richard Dawayne Fonville, 37, of Hilliard was charged Monday with theft over $5,000, according to Nassau County jail records.
The arrest report said Fonville is the assistant manager of the Circle K on Regency Square Boulevard. He was left in charge of the store for a few days over the holidays while the manager was assigned to another one.
When the manager returned to work on Dec. 29, she told investigators she found some inconsistencies in the Florida Lottery ticket sale records for Dec. 20 and Dec. 25 through 28. Store security camera footage she reviewed showed Fonville walk over to the scratch-off lottery ticket counter on those dates, remove tickets and scan them to find the winners without scratching them off, the report said. NASSAU COUNTY, Fla. A St. Cloud, Florida man was arrested Wednesday for allegedly molesting a child 50 to 75 times between November 2014 to February 2015, according to an arrest warrant issued by the Nassau County Sheriff s Office.
The victim, who is now 14, told the St. Cloud Police Department in Osceola County that Robert Harold Swenson, 40, had been inappropriately touching her since she was 4, the arrest warrant states.
