DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) Two children were hospitalized following a water rescue at Eastwood Lake in Dayton Saturday evening.
Montgomery County Regional Dispatch told 2 NEWS that a call came in around 4:45 p.m. The circumstances leading up to the rescue are unclear, but both were taken to Children’s Medical Center in unknown condition.
Police told reporter Madeline Ashley that they had been in the water searching for 40 minutes and are unsure of whether there are more children missing.

Softball nabbed four Atlantic 10 wins in a series sweep over Dayton Saturday and Sunday.
The Colonials (20-7, 12-0 A-10) plated a total of 18 runs in four games while conceding just four runs to the Flyers (11-21, 6-6 A-10). The squad remains atop the central pod’s standings with just five series to go in conference play.
The Colonials opened the series Saturday with a doubleheader. GW shut out the Flyers 2–0 in the first game before following it up with a closer 3–2 victory later in the afternoon. The team sent the Flyers packing Sunday with a 9–1 rout to begin the day and a 4–1 finish in the afternoon.
