Notable SEC Coaches Headline Regions Pro-Am Tournament
The Regions Tradition Golf Tournament, held at Greystone Golf and Country Club in Hoover, will finally make its return this week after being canceled last year because of the coronavirus. Like always, several celebrities and sports figures from around the state and the southeast headline the Wednesday celebrity pro-am.
From the University of Alabama, Nick Saban, coming off his seventh total national championship, will join professional golfer Ernie Els for a tee-time at 9 a.m. Also making the drive from Tuscaloosa is Nate Oats, the Crimson Tide basketball coach that just led the team to a “Sweet 16” appearance.
