Ambulance Service’s Emergency App has Helped in Thousands of Cases
The Életmentő (Lifesaver) app created by Hungary’s National Ambulance Service with the help of the Vodafone Hungary Foundation has been downloaded by 530,000 users and provided help in almost 3,000 cases since its last January release.
“Many people called an ambulance after they became ill at the touch of a button so that their data immediately appeared on the dispatcher’s computer, but there were also accidents where the Életmentő app provided useful and valuable help in quick emergency calls and accurate positioning,” said the spokesman of national ambulance service.
