Friendship tree planted in Pakistan to mark 70th anniversary of diplomatic ties with China

A friendship tree was planted in Islamabad at the Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs in on Thursday as part of the ongoing celebrations to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and China.
The tree was jointly planted by Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Nong Rong, according to the Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
JEDDAH: A communique set to be issued after the meeting between Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan is expected to see “good news” for the whole Muslim world.
Pakistan Ulema Council Chairman Hafiz Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi said the prime minister will arrive in Jeddah on Friday and will perform Umrah and visit the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah.
“He will then meet with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman as well as top Saudi officials and scholars, including the imams of the Two Holy Mosques as well as chiefs of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and Muslim World League (MWL),” Ashrafi said.
The meeting between Prime Minister Imran Khan and the Saudi Crown Prince, Mohammed bin Salman, is expected to benefit Pakistanis, Saudi, and the entire Muslim world.
This was stated by the Chairman of the Pakistan Ulema Council, Hafiz Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi, as he addressed a press conference in Islamabad.
The premier will land in Jeddah today, perform Umrah and visit the Prophet’s (PBUH) Mosque in Madinah.
He will then meet with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman as well as top Saudi officials and scholars, including the imams of the Two Holy Mosques as well as the chiefs of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the Muslim World League (MWL).

PHA official inspects parks

Rawalpindi : Under Prime Minister Imran Khan’s Clean and Green Pakistan Movement, gardens and surrounding spaces of all government hospitals and health centers would be phase wise converted into Natural Air Filter Spots.
Malik Abid Hussain, vice chairman of Parks & Horticulture Authority (PHA) said this while inspecting the parks and open spaces inside the hospital in District Headquarters Hospital (DHQ), Raja Bazar. Abid Hussain said that the role and importance of trees in protecting and developing human health needs not to be stated and spaces inside hospitals, parks and corridors would be decorated with flowers and plants as there is no substitute for this kind of nature’s support for medical staff in the recovery of sick people.
