Man, two sons injured in roof collapse

LAHORE:A man and his two sons were injured when the roof of a house collapsed at Awan Town Johar Town on Sunday.
Upon being informed, the rescuers rushed to the scene, pulled out the three survivors from the debris and rushed them to hospital. The injured have been identified as Allah Ditta, 55, and his two sons Babar, 22, and Khawar, 31.
Eight people arrested: Manawan police arrested eight people during a search operation and recovered weapons from them. The accused have been identified as Afaq, Awais, Javed, Tanveer, Sultan Sabir and Mubashir.
Meanwhile, Dera Ghazi Khan district police claimed to have arrested 42 criminals during the last 30 days and seized drugs and illegal weapons from them. Police also registered seven cases on gambling charges.

LAHORE:
At least six members of a family died after the roof of a house collapsed in Shadbagh on Friday.
The victims included women and children and the family has been living in the house situated on Imam Ghazali Road, Wasanpura for the last six years.
Construction work was going on the first floor. The ground floor’s roof was made of girders.
Seven people die across Punjab in 984 accidents

LAHORE: Punjab Emergency Service (Rescue 1122) responded to 984 traffic accidents in all 36 districts of Punjab during the last 24 hours. In these accidents, seven people died, whereas 1,051 were injured. Out of this, 596 people were seriously injured who were shifted to different hospitals. Whereas, 455 minor injured victims were treated at the incident site by Rescue medical teams.
