Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain has said Resolving the problems of the lawyer community is the top priority of the government.
Talking to the Office bearers of District Bar Jhelum, he said Lawyers are defenders of democracy, human rights and the constitution.
The matter to include lawyers in the Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme was also discussed in the meeting.
Earlier talking to a delegation of Film Producers Association in Islamabad Information Minister said development and revival of the film industry on modern lines is foremost priority of the government.

Minister for Information and Broadcasting Ch Fawad Hussain says development and revival of the film industry is foremost priority of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf s government.
Talking to a delegation of Film Producers Association in Islamabad today (Wednesday), he said the government is committed to fully encourage the export of Pakistani films. In this regard, cooperation and collaboration with Saudi Arabia and China can be beneficial.
He said movies are also an important mean of highlighting the country s culture, history, values, heritage and screen tourism.
Ch Fawad Hussain said harmonizing the film industry with the technology and modern requirements like other sectors is need of the hour.
Govt finalises film policy as PFPA delegation meets Fawad Chaudhry

ISLAMABAD: A delegation of the Pakistan Film Producers Association (PFPA) on Wednesday called on Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry here in Islamabad, ARY News reported.
During the meeting, matters pertaining to the film industry came under discussion. The meeting also finalised the long-awaited film policy.
The Film Producers Association delegation was headed by PFPA Vice-Chairman Jerjees Seja.
Talking to a delegation in the meeting, Fawad Chaudhry said that revival of the film industry was the foremost priority of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government.
The PTI government is committed to fully encourage the export of Pakistani films, he added.

Film producers and filmmakers in Ghana cannot sell their films to television stations starting from July 1, 2021 until further notice.
The move is part of measures to supposedly help save the movie industry from collapsing.
This was included in a joint statement by stakeholder bodies in the film industry including the Film Producers Association of Ghana, Film Crew Association of Ghana, Marketers & Distributors Association of Ghana and Ghana Academy of Film & Television Arts.
These bodies reached the agreement at the end of a three-day strategy session organised and sponsored by the Ghana Tourism Authority to understand the challenges and the reasons behind the collapse of the film industry and to enable the various stakeholders to put together solutions to revive the exhibition, marketing and sales of Ghanaian movies, which once was a model for film producers across the world.
