Chico man arrested on child porn charges
A Chico man was arrested on Feb. 3 after BCSO detectives say they located evidence indicating he was downloading over 600 images of child pornography.

CHICO, Calif. – A Chico man was arrested on suspicion of possessing over 600 images of child pornography.
In 2020, Butte County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) detectives began investigating David Veach, 22-years-old, of Chico. During the investigation, detectives located evidence indicating Veach was downloading child pornography.
On Jan. 27, 2021, detectives served a search warrant at Veach’s residence, located in the 1100 block of West 7th Street, Chico.

CHICO, Calif. - The Butte County Sheriff s office Monday released information about the arrest of CSU, Chico History Professor Laird McLeod Easton for possession of child pornography.
Investigators say they uncovered evidence that showed Easton was downloading child pornography and on January 20th obtained a warrant for his arrest.
A search warrant was served at Easton s home on Citrus Avenue in Chico on January 21st. Detectives and University Police Department Officers also served a search warrant at Easton s Office on campus.
Paradise man accused of downloading over 600 images of child porn
A Paradise man is facing charges for possession of child pornography, according to deputies.

PARADISE, Calif. – A Paradise man is facing charges for possession of child pornography, according to deputies.
In 2020, Butte County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) detectives began investigating 29-year-old Alex Rozycki, of Paradise.
Detectives located evidence they say indicated Rozycki was downloading child pornography. On Dec. 23, detectives served a search warrant at Rozycki’s residence, located in the 6000 block of Tyden Way in Paradise.
During the search warrant, detectives say they seized multiple electronic devices that belonged to Rozycki. Detectives later conducted forensic searches of the electronic devices and located multiple images of child pornography. OROVILLE, Calif. - Butte County s Sheriff s Department arrested a man suspected of a robbery, only to find a meth lab in the suspect s home.
A homeowner on Cherokee Rd. called the Butte County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) to report a burglary at their residence. Detectives searched the area and found a suspect matching the description outside a residence on the 2400 block of Cherokee Road.
Oroville woman arrested in connection with 2 residential burglaries
Tiffany Paul was arrested and booked into the Butte County Jail.

OROVILLE, Calif. – An Oroville woman was arrested in connection to a burglary in Oroville, Thermalito, and a stolen motorcycle out of Chico, according to the Butte County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO).
On Dec. 13, Deputies responded to a residential burglary in the area of La Mirada Avenue and Orchard Hill Drive in Oroville. The homeowner said she left the residence for three hours during the afternoon and returned to find the residence in a mess. The homeowner also noticed her truck was now missing. The led to a total loss of several thousands of dollars, according to BCSO.
