Show Transcript CASES EVERY SINGLE DAY. ED: PROPOSED CHANGES TO THE STATE S MCAS EXAM, IF APPROVED THIS YEAR S ELEVENTH GRADERS WOULD NOT BE REQUIRED TO TAKE THE ASSESSMENT IF IT S APPROVED. THE EDUCATION COMMISSIONER JEFF RILEY PLANS TO RECOMMEND CHANGES TO THE GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS FOR THE CLASS OF 2022. THE STATE PREVIOUSLY ANNOUNCED CHANGES TO THE MCAS, INCLUDING POSTPONING THE EXAMS. THE PROPOSED EXAM DATE TIMELINE FOR GRADES THROUGH-8 HAS BEEN EXTENDED UNTIL JUNE 11th.
