Manager was instructed to reheat beef to at least 165 degrees and maintain foods for hot holding at or above 135 degrees. Beef was reheated on the grill to 185-188 degrees. Observed a build-up of debris on the non-food contact surfaces of the ice machine and blender. Blender was taken out of service for cleaning and manager asked to clean often to avoid build-up. The Box Meat Shop Observed sealed bags of beef jerky held in the retail store. Internal temperature of the semi-moist beef was 78 degrees. Per the manager, the facility is cooking beef strips, cooling them to room temperature and then using a reduced oxygen packaging process (ROP) to package them. ROP requires a pre-approved variance, which the operator did not have. The package beef was embargoed. Manager stated they would no longer make/sell beef jerky.

The Illinois Schools Report Card finds that 82.8 percent of teachers stay at Butterfield Elementary School year to year, according to their 2020 three-year average. The Illinois State Board of Education records data concerning faculty salary, retention and attendance because maintaining a stable faculty makes for a better environment for teachers and students, furthering student success, according to the report. Lombard SD 44 full-time faculty members number 248, with a student-teacher ratio of 15-to-1. There are 272 students enrolled at the elementary school. The average salary for teachers within the district is $89,557, ranking it 43rd out of 1096 districts in the state for pay. About 79.8 percent of teachers at the elementary school and 79.8 percent of those in the district were absent 10 days or fewer in 2020, compared to 86.6 percent of teachers in the state.

MUSD now owns 15 properties after purchase of new high school site

In December, MUSD received $3.54 million from Arizona’s School Facilities Board to buy the Cortona property at the southwest corner of Murphy and Farrell roads near the far east edge of the district. The SFB is also supplying more than $22 million approved by the state Legislature to help build the school. Three Schools in Sanger ISD to Return to Virtual Learning Due to COVID-19

Published December 14, 2020 • Updated on December 15, 2020 at 4:34 am NBC 5 News Three campuses in the Sanger Independent School District will go virtual through the end of the week after a spike in COVID-19 cases that resulted in a high number of students and staff members being forced to quarantine, according to a district letter. Butterfield Elementary School, Chisholm Trail Elementary School and Clear Creek Intermediate School will close through Friday for deep cleaning, the letter says. Sanger ISD s Sixth Grade Center, Sanger Middle School, Linda Tutt High School and Sanger High School will remain open for in-person instruction. Students and staff of the closed campuses will move to online learning starting Tuesday and will not miss any instructional time, the district said.
