The Ohio Department of Agriculture plans to levy a $500 fine for an unlicensed inflatable slide to the Land of Illusion, where a teen drowned in a pond last month, but as Ohio Attorney General told the press Monday, that agency has no jurisdiction over the pond.
ODA officials said photos were sent to its office that showed Land of Illusion operating an inflatable slide after their inspectors told them not to. Inspectors said the park did not have proper documentation for the slide and they were, therefore, unable to inspect it.
ODA said they told Land of Illusion the slide could not be operated until an inspection was complete.
