Eagles coming off win over Seneca
At this point in the basketball season, teams dont necessarily like to have only one game over a weeks time, but for Purdy, a full week of preparation for Fridays contest against Crane may be just what the Eagles need.
Purdy (13-4) is coming off a 55-44 victory over Seneca on Homecoming night, a game Coach Ryan Stokes said was a challenging one.

Purdy gearing up for tough conference schedule
The Purdy boys basketball team is gaining confidence, helped along last week by a 50-47 win over neighbor Pierce City on Jan. 19.
The Eagles (11-4) were nursing a 2-point lead in the final minute of play, forcing Pierce City to foul. Purdy added free throws to extend the score and held on defensively to secure its first win over Pierce City in recent years.
