(WJHG/WECP) - Panama City is continuing to grow, and so are the local hospitals. The Gulf Coast Regional Medical Center announced a $24 million expansion project on Monday. This new project will include adding over 13,000 square feet of new space to the main facility and add an additional 6,000 square feet to the hospital’s diagnostic and rehabilitation center. There will be an addition of one cardiovascular procedural suite and one operating suite that is expected to be completed in December of 2022. There will also be new wound care hyperbaric building.
