PETALING JAYA: The renewal of public service vehicles and commercial vehicle operators’ licences have been extended between three and five years, says Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.
The Transport Minister said upon reviewing the difficulties that the Covid-19 pandemic has caused for the transport industry, he had instructed the relevant agencies under the ministry to review various policies to help industry players. The Transport Ministry through the Land Public Transport Agency (Apad) has decided to extend the validity of approved operator’s licences for public service vehicles and commercial vehicles to at least three years up to five years, he said in a statement on Friday (May 7).
