(SPRINGFIELD) The USDA is providing technical and financial assistance to help Illinois farmers and livestock producers recover from damages brought on by recent winter storms. Farmers may contact their local USDA Service Center to learn about the programs available to help them recover from crop, land, infrastructure, and livestock/grazing and feed losses. For more, go to farmers.gov/recover/disaster-tool. Producers who have risk protection through Federal Crop Insurance or the FSA’s Noninsured Crop Disaster Assistance Program should report crop damage to their crop insurance agent or FSA office.
