By Editor | November 24, 2020 | The USDA Farm Service Agency reminds agricultural producers in Illinois to complete crop acreage reports by the Dec. 15 deadline for fall-seeded small grains. “To make sure you’re eligible for many USDA programs, you need to file an accurate crop acreage report by the applicable deadline,” said William Graff, FSA state executive director. The following acreage reporting dates are applicable in Illinois: Dec. 15 – Fall-Seeded Small Grains, Canola. and Jan. 15 – Apples, Asparagus, Blueberries, Caneberries, Cherries, Grapes, Nectarines, Peaches, Pears, Plums, Strawberries To complete your acreage report, call the local FSA office (283-2311) to schedule an appointment. The FSA can work with producers to file timely acreage reports by phone, email, online tools and virtual meetings.
