Kaiser Aluminum, a $1.3 billion manufacturing company, is relocating its headquarters from Southern California to Franklin. The company will invest about $3 million and create 80 local jobs as part of the move, according to a press release from the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development. Williamson County provides the benefit of a corporate friendly business environment and access to a highly talented workforce.,  Kaiser Aluminum President and CEO Keith A. Harvey said in a press release. Kaiser Aluminum products are used in a range of industries from aerospace manufacturing to packaging to custom automotive projects. The company employs about 3,700 people in 14 North American facilities.
