KINGSTON The Kingston and area Pink Shirt Day campaign, organized by the Boys and Girls Club of Kingston and Area and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox and Addington, will be special this year, under the slogan, “Be Safe, Be Kind, Be You,” and with proceeds funding anti-bullying and positive mentoring programs.
Although the pandemic and a recent stay-at-home provincial order have posed unique challenges to organizing the campaign, the clubs worked with Primetime Custom, a local custom apparel manufacturer, to adapt the traditional campaign logistics.
