LEWISTOWN- Two Mifflin County High School seniors are hosting a kickball tournament to benefit the Siennick Family’s housing fund. The Siennick kids currently live in a small home with their grandmother after the tragic death of their mother. The family plans to build a home to better accommodate their needs.
Seniors, Alyssa Souders and Jalynn Yoder, decided to hold the kickball tournament for their senior project. Souders teacher allowed for more freedom in their creativity by allowing students to choose between a senior paper or project.
Souders explained that after her family found out, they reached out to do what they could to help. “When I found out that we could do a project, I knew I wanted to incorporate benefiting the Siennick family somehow.” She said.
