As the search continues for a missing Hoover who disappeared in Birmingham nearly one week ago, Birmingham police said Friday they are expanding the investigation to other cities. Jordian Valentine, 18, was last seen Saturday, Feb. 27, in the city’s Wylam community. Police and family said Valentine and her on-again boyfriend, along with other friends, went to the home at 510 Frisco Street where they watched people get tattoos.
Birmingham Police are searching for a 65-year-old man last seen walking to a convenience store in the Woodlawn area around 3:00 p.m. on Friday March 5.
Luther Strickland, who has a medical condition that impairs his judgment and can't speak, was last seen walking in Woodlawn around 3 p.m. Friday, police said. He was found safe Friday night.

Missing woman with impaired judgment found safe

UPDATE: Birmingham police on Tuesday said Debra Branton has been found safe and reunited with her family.
EARLIER: Authorities are asking for the public’s help in finding a 63-year-old woman who disappeared on New Year’s Day in eastern Birmingham.
Debra Branton was last seen about 11:45 a.m. Friday in the 7900 block of Crestwood Boulevard. She suffers from a medical condition which impairs her judgment, said Officer Truman Fitzgerald.
Branton was last known to be wearing a green camouflage hat, black shirt, green camouflage pants and pink shoes. She is a white female who is 5-feet, 2-inches tall and weighs 170 pounds.
