Pets of the Week: Adopt green-eyed cat Jellie, magic-eared Mazie

Last week, pets and their families celebrated National Love Your Pet Day. If you missed commemorating the occasion, that s probably because, like most pet owners, Love Your Pet Day is every single day of the year! But, if you have a little love to spare, Jellie and Mazie will reward you tenfold and make every day feel like National Love Your Owner Day. Looking for the jelly to your peanut butter? Or almond butter, if you prefer? Whatever your nut butter of choice, Jellie will add the perfect touch of sweetness. Jellie is a stunning green-eyed boy with a flair for accessorizing - check out his chic red blanket-sweater! Does Jellie have a future as an influencer on Catster? Probably, but he’s going to need a little help from his new family - after all, it’s a bit tough trying to work an I-phone with paws!

Pets: Bulldog mix Sage, chonky cat Miss Kittens will keep you warm

This season, the phrase ‘winter wonderland’ seems to have taken on a new meaning - everyone is wondering just when winter is going to end! It’s times like this that you really appreciate the comforts of home. But if your home is feeling a little lacking in CQ - comfort quotient - now is a good time to up the coziness factor. Miss Kittens is just as soft and plush as your favorite grey hoodie - you know, the one you reach for a bit too often. Unlike your hoodie, though, you won’t need to worry about Miss Kittens fading in the wash (she’s self-cleaning!), she’s perfect for all seasons, and she looks great in photos.

NJ Police Officer Rescues Homeless Wounded Pit Bull Pup and Adopts Him the Same Day

NJ Police Officer Rescues Homeless Wounded Pit Bull Pup and Adopts Him the Same Day When a New Jersey police officer rescued an injured pit bull puppy, it was love at first sight. Officer Matthew O’Hanlon with the Mount Laurel Police Department was in a business district of Mount Laurel when he and his colleague found an injured puppy wandering around. The 14-week-old dog, which they rescued on Jan. 2, had neither identification tags nor a microchip. “When we typically find a dog, usually they have tags on them or a chip,” Officer O’Hanlon told ABC. “We can take them to the local animal hospital and have the owner found pretty fast.”

Mount Laurel police officer adopts puppy rescued by fellow officers

MOUNT LAUREL Thor, a roughly three-month-old pit bull, is not your average rescue puppy. When we typically find a dog, usually they have tags on them or a chip, said Officer Matthew O Hanlon. We can take them to the local animal hospital and have the owner found pretty fast. Little Thor was different. He was found roaming an industrial area of a business-heavy part of town with no identification. He did, however, have a nasty mark on his forehead. My fiance and I were looking to get a pitbull, and when you see a pit bull puppy with an injury, it s hard to pass up on, said Officer O Hanlon.

Pets of the Week: Adopt a special cat or dog for extra love

All pets are special, but some are just extra-special - like Ramses and Simba. And that’s not just because they are extra cute, or extra sweet - which they both are!  Ramses was named after a great Egyptian pharaoh, and while that is a lot to live up to, this guy would certainly make his namesake proud. Ramses is a stunner with his charcoal-grey coat and piercing green eyes, and he poses like he’s waiting for his likeness to be carved into stone. But his regality ends at his looks, as Ramses is just a big sweetheart who adores his foster family and can’t get enough pets and cuddles.
