Sexual assault suspect allegedly drove women to remote spots under ghost hunting guise

HOUSTON - A Houston man is accused of driving women to remote locations under the guise of ghost hunting and then sexually forcing himself upon the women in various ways, authorities say.
David Lynn Turner, 46, of Houston, is charged with two counts of sexual assault. He was in the San Jacinto County Jail with a $500,000 bond. Authorities say Turner formerly worked as a reserve Texas Police Officer in Harris County between 2012 and 2015.
On May 4, the San Jacinto County Sheriff’s Office and the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office conducted a joint investigation into allegations of sexual assault made by several victims describing similar incidents.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX â Authorities are searching for a man who allegedly reversed his pickup towards a sheriff s deputy during a traffic stop then took off.
Around 1:43 p.m. on Wednesday, February 3, the Texas Department of Public Safety was conducting a traffic stop in the area of I-45 North and Rayford Road. Montgomery County Sheriff s Office deputies responded to assist.
A 32-year-old woman kidnapped from Liberty County Tuesday was found safe in Illinois around 2 a.m. According to deputies, the suspect in the kidnapping, 38-year-old Abel Fajardo, was arrested, and Erika Rios Valdez was found with him, safe and unharmed.
