EUFAULA, Ala. (WTVM) - Police in Eufaula are investigating the discovery of three bodies found in a vehicle that has been pulled from Lake Eufaula. The discovery was made at Old Creek Town Park. Mayor Jack Tibbs confirmed to WSFA that a jogger found a car this morning. Police are investigating what is believed to be a triple homicide.

SMITH COUNTY, Texas (KLTV) - The relocation of a major fishing tournament could cost one East Texas community major tourism revenue due to last weekâs winter storm.
Lake Palestine and the City of Flint were set to host the REDCREST 2021 Championship starting on Sunday.

Major League Fishing announced today that due to the winter storms, inclement weather and uncertain conditions in Texas, next week s REDCREST Championship has been shifted to Lake Eufaula in Alabama. Eufaula lies approximately 650 miles east of Lake Palestine, where the event was set to take place.
The tournament dates and competition schedule will remain the same practice will occur on Sunday and the tournament will take place Monday through Friday. Competitors will launch from Lakepoint State Park.
Weve exhausted every option available to try to remain at Lake Palestine, but with the disaster-like conditions that the area is currently facing we couldnt, as an organization, come in and use their valuable resources water, electricity, food, hotel rooms and celebrate our championship event when the local community is suffering, said Michael Mulone, MLF senior director of events & partner
