Alabama Hosts The HBCU NFL Combine Alabama Hosts The HBCU NFL Combine  The NFL is gearing up to come back in the fall. Before the draft is the NFL combine and the HBCU combine will happen in Alabama this year. Due to the pandemic, last year the NFL was forced to cancel their first HCBU combine. It was set to take place in Miami, Florida. The HBCU Combine serves as a way for NFL prospects to get exposure even though they are eligible for the draft but didn t get a formal invitation to the NFL Combine. According to Sports Illustrated, this year s HBCU Combine will take place on April 9th-10th at the University of Alabama Birmingham. Yes! Alabama will host dozens of NFL prospects for a full weekend!
