Strength of Icelandic krona unknown | IceNews

>Icelanders should save, reconstruct, adjust balances, grow and pay: Investors and speculators look for credible and substantial data, good results. Icelandic people will try. But current Red Green government is against us and it can only get worst after IMF ( which was a restraining influence on the craziest Leftist ideas ) has gone. Volcano has mini birthday

Mynd: Magnús Atli Magnússon - RÚV/Landinn The ongoing volcanic eruption near Fagradalsfjall on the Reykjanes peninsula is two months old today and it has been erupting twice as much lava per second during the past two weeks than was average during the first six weeks. Magnús Tumi Guðmundsson, professor of geophysics, says it is quite unusual for lava flow to increase over time. “This is clearly a landmark moment. A little birthday, if you will,” Magnús Tumi says. “This eruption has behaved quite differently to most that we have seen. It started gently, and is still not exactly un-gentle, but it is now twice as big as it was to start with: twice as much [lava] is coming out,” he explains.
