RALEIGH – Brandon Asbill, a longtime veteran at Red Hat, is moving to nearby Bandwidth to become the communications services provider as its general counsel.
Bandwidth (Nasdaq: BAND) on Wednesday named Asbill to succeed Chris Matton whose departure was announced recently. Asbill joins Bandwidth on Jan. 18.
Asbill worked at Red Hat for 12 years, his last position being vice president and assistant general counsel. He was actively involved in Red Hat’s $34 billion acquiistion by IBM in 2019 and other earlier acquisitions made by the Raleigh-based firm.
