UST opens vaccination site for Manila residents

The city government of Manila said 800 COVID-19 vaccine doses for priority groups A1 to A5 will be available in the initial rollout. UST gates will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Only those individuals who had pre-registered for vaccines would be inoculated. The Adamson University and Colegio de San Juan de Letran have also turned their campuses into additional venues for COVID-19 vaccination. Similarly, the Ateneo de Manila University and the University of the Philippines Los Baños also lent their facilities as venues for vaccination.

(Photo via Keith Bacongco / FILE PHOTO) On Tuesday, SEARCA Director and Chief Executive Officer Glenn Gregorio issued his official comments and notes regarding the revised draft of the consolidated chair text on WTO’s negotiating group on rules, particularly on fisheries subsidies. “Recognizing the importance of conserving coastal and marine resources, as further emphasized in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 14: Life below water), we support the call that, ‘no member shall grant or maintain any subsidy to a vessel or operator engaged in IUU fishing’,” said Gregorio.
