Hasan graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Development Communication from the University of the Philippines Los Baños.
After graduating in 2018, the 23-year old worked for the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) for two years before she shifted to full-time freelancing.
“I chose freelancing because it gives me that sense of freedom that I never felt when I was still an employee,” Hasan told the Manila Bulletin.
When she was in her 9 to 5 job, Hasan hated everyday commute, the strict working hours, and the routinary work.
“When I started being a freelancer, I no longer find Mondays dreading anymore, now it is more than exciting! I finally achieved ‘work-life balance,’ with the freedom to choose what, when, and where to work,” she shared, adding that she now has control over her career and financial goals.

The vaccination site, which is being operated by the Quezon City local government unit, was opened on Tuesday, May 4 as part of the university’s concrete response to the needs of the community during the pandemic.
It is open for Quezon City residents who belong to the A1, A2, and A3 priority groups with confirmed slots.
“The Grade School cafeteria’s structure is an ideal place for mass vaccination operation, with wide open spaces and good air circulation,” ADMU said.
“The area around the cafeteria also allows for more spaces for patients who will have to wait their turn to get inoculated,” it added.
Located within the University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB) campus, the Botanic Garden features native and non-native trees and lesser-known plants and flowers. It’s a special treat for plantitos and plantitas.

“The Commission lauds UPLB for facilitating the vaccination of its personnel, particularly those in the A1 and A2 priority groups so that they will be assured of protection and continue to provide essential education services,” said CHED Chairman J. Prospero E. De Vera III in a statement issued Wednesday, April 28.
De Vera, who is also UP Board of Regents Chairman, stressed that HEI personnel also need to be prioritized since the current semester is about to end. Given this, “there should be no delay in the processing of the documents of students who will continue their studies or will graduate.”
